NOT THE BABYSITTER. Fatherhood Myths & Dad Realities
Janis Lily addresses how popular culture presents fathers stereotypically as absent or ineffective, which leads to distorted views of their capacity and capability. Current research tells us about what men’s roles are today and their willingness to be a present, active parent. We then can banish these media supported biases to create an inclusive environment that is father friendly and learn how to challenge our clients to see what is and can be possible for dads.
