Lunches must be eaten on-site and will be served on a first-come, first-served basis for 1 hour.  Must be 18 years old or younger to get free lunch. Lunch will be served indoors on rainy days. Call RE-CREATION at 508-679-0922 for more information.

Groundwork Southcoast will be hosting a brand new Farmers’ market in the Flint section of Fall River for 8 Tuesdays from 2pm – 6pm

Come enjoy a wide variety of locally-grown produce in a festive outdoor setting. Snap cards will be accepted as well as HIP (Healthy Incentive Program) bonus returns for fruit and vegetable purchases made. For more information: mramsey@groundworksouthcoast.org.

LUNCH MEETS Lecture Series: Fall River Whaling Days @ Fall River Heritage State Park in the Visitor Center Theater

Judith Lund, author and former curator of the New Bedford Whaling Museum will present “Fall River Whaling Days”, the neglected story of the city’s participation in the whaling industry.

Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park. For ages 16 and up and FREE.
