Nonprofit organizations, schools, and municipal governments throughout the country are using emerging technologies provided through their local cable system to communicate, educate, and distribute information. Would you like to have the same resources in Fall River? You can help make it happen by taking part in a community meeting this May.
Next year, the city of Fall River will be renewing its cable contract with Comcast, and Fall River Community Media, FRED-TV, and FRGTV are conducting focus groups to collect public input for use in the negotiations. This input will better position the city to pursue opportunities to enhance cable service, community media, and technology in Fall River over the next ten years.
Three focus groups will be held at Spencer Borden Elementary School. Attend the one most convenient for you.
Wednesday, May 16
3:30 p.m. — 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 17
2:00 p.m. — 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, May 17
